How To Book Your Lift Passes
You can buy your passes at any of the lifts, or you can pre-order them from the lift pass office and either pick them up when you arrive (from the Montenvers station) or have them posted out. Buying in advance directly from the lift operator is usually the cheapest option and there are often exclusive online offers available such as buy 5 days, get a 6th free. Buy online HERE
There are two options for lift passes in Chamonix.
1. Mont Blanc Unlimited is the largest ski lift pass and covers all domains in the Chamonix Valley including: Grands Montets top station, Aiguille du Midi, Montenvers train, Les Houches and the Tramway de Mont Blanc. In addition you also get Courmayeur (passes of 2 days or more) and Verbier (passes of 6 days or more). This is perfect for advanced skiers wanting to cover a large amount of terrain.
2. Chamonix Le Pass covers the Brevent/Flegere area, the Balme area (Le Tour & Vallorcine), the Grands Montets (not including top station), and the beginner areas (Savoy, Planards, Vormaine, Chosalets). This is perfect for intermediate skiers who can cover a reasonable amount of terrain.
Unfortunately Alpes Travel cannot buy, collect or take delivery of passes on your behalf and can’t accept responsibility for any purchases made directly with the individual lift pass offices. If opting to have your passes delivered to your home address please allow plenty of time for delivery before you depart as the lift pass office may not reissue passes they’ve already posted out.
