How do i book a property

All bookings are made online via the book now button on the property page. If you need any help though, we are at the end of the phone or available on email.

How do i pay the deposit and how much is it?

We take a 30% deposit to secure the booking. You can pay online via credit or debit card when you book, for which there’s a 1% card charge.

How and when do i pay the balance?

The balance is due 10 weeks before arrival. We will send you a reminder email with a link which will allow you to pay by card.

How can i check my order, what i have paid, and how much i owe?

When you first made the booking we will have sent you an email with your log in details. Here you can see your order, how much you have paid and what is still owed and when.

If you have lost your log in details, just drop us an email and we will reset them.

Should i get insurance?

Yes it is a good idea to get holiday insurance. If you book by credit card, your holiday purchase is often covered, so if you can’t come you can get your money back. Its also important to have health insurance, this is normally covered by your EHIC card if you are coming from the UK.

If you are doing activities whilst away, we recommend using Dogtag insurance for additional cover.

For US residents, have a look at Travel Guard.

Can i just book a single room?

Some of our properties are sold to mixed groups, so you can book just one room. Have a look for the ‘sold mixed’ symbol in the property description.

Can i book short breaks?

Yes! We are all about flexible accommodation, send us your requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you.

How do i book lift passes?

How do i book a transfer?

By booking your airport transfer from Geneva to Chamonix or Morzine through the Alpes site you benefit from a 5% discount from the advertised price.

In Chamonix we recommend Chamonix Valley Transfers (CVT). Book online at www.chamonix-valley-transfers.co.uk and receive an instant booking confirmation. CVT are the highest ranked transfer company in the Chamonix Valley on Trip Advisor!

For Morzine transfers we work with Ski Lifts, to make your booking head to http://transfers.ski-lifts.com/wp/alpes

How do i book ski lessons?

To book ski lessons in Chamonix we highly recommend Evolution2 and In Morzine we recommend the Avoriaz Alpine Ski School.

What non skiing activities are there?

There are plenty of non-skiing activities to do during the winter, such as snow shoeing, cross country skiing, huskey riding etc…

What summer activities are available?

We can put you in touch with companies that rent bikes, or offer tandem parapents, or do guided hikes.

What is the address of my property?

The address of the each property is on the site. You’ll also receive a pre-arrival email 2 weeks before your booking start date confirming the address and how to check-in on arrival day.

How do i get in?

Some of our properties have door codes – we will send you the code for your stay in your pre-arrival email send 2 weeks before your booking start date.

If the property you’re staying at doesn’t have a door code, our representative will meet you at the property.

You will be asked your approximate time of arrival on your booking form, please be sure to fill it in so that we know when you will be arriving.

Please give us a call 30 minutes before you arrive into resort on the number in your arrival details email.

What time can i arrive?

Check in time is after 4pm and check out time is 10AM.

For properties without door code access we can meet you between 4PM and 7pm. For arrivals between 7pm and 10pm there will be a late arrival charge of €50 euros. If you think you will arrive after 10pm please let us know – we can still make arrangements for you to check in after this time but the late arrival charge will increase to €70 euros.

If you have arranged to arrive in resort before check in time and would like to store bags we can store bags in our central Chamonix office and at the Kinkerne in Morzine.

Is there somewhere i can store my bags?

We have bag drop facilities in Morzine and Chamonix.

In Chamonix, the bag drop is at our Chamonix centre office, at 20 Avenue du Savoy.

In Morzine, the bag drop is at the Kinkerne hotel in the Prodains area.

Can i park at the properties?

Each of our properties have different parking availability, some have none. This will be clearly written on the webpage for the property.

Some of the parkings need a beeper to get into, if this is the case this will be handed to you at the same time as the keys.

Can i smoke in the properties?

We have a no smoking rule in all the properties, but there are outside areas equipped with ashtrays available.

Can i bring my dog, cat, parrot etc...?

You can bring your animals but we will take card details by way of a security deposit, in case we have to clean up after!

Should i clean the property when i leave?

Cleaning instructions will be up on the wall of your property for guidance.

We ask that all the bins are emptied and taken to the closest bin depot.

All the beds are stripped and the linen left on the bed.

That the kitchen is clean and all the dishes are done, the dishwasher is emptied.

All the areas are cleaned down, hoovered and mopped.

We provide all the necessary equipment for this.

We do hold a refundable cleaning deposit in case this does not happen.

Can i book catering in my property?

All of our properties are sold on a self-catered basis, we work with the fantastic Chalet Kitchen who provide wholesome three course meals delivered to your door, as well as breakfast paniers and alcohol delivery (with food).
