The Location
Apartment Les Drus is located in the peaceful Champraz area in between Chamonix and the village of Les Praz. It is around a 20 minute walk into Chamonix centre and a 15 minute walk to the Flégère gondola in Les Praz. With a car the gondola is just a 3 minute drive therefore we would recommend that guests bring a car to make the most of their stay. The village of Les Praz has an épicerie, a handful of restaurants and a popular bar. Apartment Les Drus is perfect for those keen to explore the Chamonix Valley but wanting a quiet spot, with a great sense of space and fantastic views to make their holiday base.
The Details
The apartment is on the 4th floor of an apartment building with a lift. It has an open plan kitchen/living/dining area with a large, comfy sofa, TV and dining table. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, stove, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a utility area with a washing machine/dryer. Off the living area is a sunny balcony with table and chairs. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedroom 2 is a twin room with two single beds and bedroom 3 sleeps 2 in a set of bunk beds. Bathroom 1 has a shower over a bath, basin and WC and bathroom 2 has a monsoon shower, basin and WC. Externally there is one designated parking space in an underground car park and a ski locker.
What’s Included
Self-catered bookings include linen and towels based on the standard guest configuration. If your apartment features a sofa bed and you require additional linen to accommodate maximum occupancy, a supplementary linen fee of €25 will apply. The rate also includes end-of-stay cleaning and the local taxe de séjour (tourist tax), which provides access to a Carte d’Hôtes. This card grants complimentary use of local trains and discounts on museum admissions and other attractions.
Standard check-in is available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with check-out required by 10:00 AM. Please note that late arrivals may incur additional charges. If your apartment permits pets, additional fees apply. Dogs are charged at €15 per night per dog; however, cats are not permitted in any Alpes Travel apartments.
Payment terms and CancellationÂ
To confirm the booking, you must pay 10% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 4.6 euros per adult per night. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.
If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.
Please note that a temporary damage deposit of €250 will be charged on the day of arrival and held for the duration of the stay. The deposit will be released upon check-out.
