Apartment Chalet Suisse is a modern apartment located in ‘The Old Library’ a unique, historical building in Chamonix. Recently renovated and stylishly furnished it comprises two bedrooms, one bathroom and a living room sofa bed, sleeping up to 6 guests. From the bright, open plan living space, which opens up onto a sunny balcony, you can enjoy incredible views of the Mont Blanc Massif. The addition of a wood burning stove makes Chalet Suisse a great place to relax after a day in the mountains.

The location 

Apartment Chalet Suisse benefits from an excellent location less than a 5 minute walk from the pedestrianised centre of Chamonix. In winter it is also just a couple of minute’s walk to the Savoy nursery slope. From here you can access the Brévent ski area via a drag lift to the main Brévent lift. The tennis courts, sports centre and famous QC Terme spa are also just a few minutes on foot. Additionally, a bus stop just a minute from the apartment gives easy access to the rest of the Chamonix Valley for those wanting to explore the other villages or ski areas. Apartment Chalet Suisse makes an excellent base for families or groups of friends who would like the fantastic convenience of a central Chamonix location.

The details 

Apartment Chalet Suisse is situated on the first floor of a small residence. It has a bright and airy open plan living/dining/kitchen area which opens up onto a balcony. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine. There is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and the living sofa can be used as a sofa bed if required. There is one bathroom with a shower, double basin and WC. Externally there is one parking space and a ski locker.

What’s Included

Self-catered bookings include linen/towels for each bed  (there is a 25 euro per stay supplement for a sofa bed pack if your property has a sofa bed you wish to use), end of stay cleaning and local taxe de séjour (tourist tax). This allows you to benefit from the Carte d’Hotes giving you free travel on the trains and reductions on entry to the museums and other attractions. Standard check-in is between 4-8pm and check-out is by 10am. Early or late check-in and check-out might be available and can be booked through your guest area.

Payment terms and Cancellation 

To confirm the booking, you must pay 30% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 4.6 euros per adult per night and a non-refundable booking fee of 5%. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.

If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund, excluding the 5% booking fee. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.
