Is it cheaper to book my holiday direct?

Yes, booking directly can save you up to 15% on the cost of your booking.

Will I have to pay a security deposit ?

We take a 250 euros security deposit in case of any damage to the property. This is taken, on the day of arrival, as a hold on your credit card that you used to pay for your holiday. The hold is release after your departure providing there are no issues. If you would rather we used an alternative form of payment for the security deposit please let us know. If you have booked through Airbnb, the security deposit will be held by Airbnb. If the security deposit capture fails on your credit card supplied, our resort rep will ask for an alternative form of payment during Check-In.

Can children stay for free in an Alpes Travel property ?

We can provide a free cot for children under the age of 2 years old, meaning they do not count towards the total number of pax allowed in a property. Please let us know if you would require a cot at the time of booking.

Can I bring my pet to an Alpes Travel property ?

We do allow pets in certain properties, for a surcharge of 5 euros per pet per night. Please let us know at the time of booking. We also stress that the property needs to be left clean of all pet hairs and damage.

When and how do I check into the property ?

Check in is between 4pm and 10pm. We will send you an email two weeks before arrival with information about the check in process for your particular property. We ask for our guests to email us their approximate time of arrival when they know it and then to contact our resort manager Lauren on +33749381876 with a precise arrival time on the actual day.

Many of our properties have key boxes, so our guests can let themselves into their apartments and a representative will visit them as soon as they are available.

It might be possible to check in earlier or later. For check ins outside of the usual time an express cleaning fee, or late check in fee of 75 euros will apply and will be payable in cash directly to the representative.

What time can I check in?

Standard check in time is between 4pm and 10pm. Earlier check ins may be possible if the apartment clean and ready for arrival. Check ins past 10pm are available but charged at additional fee of €75.

What will I be provided with for my stay?

All bed linen, one bath towels and one hand towel will be included for each guests, as well as hand soaps in the bathrooms.

We also provide surplus bin liners, a sponge + washing up liquid, and dishwasher tablets in the kitchen.

If the property has a wood burning stove, you can order a log pack by emailing hello@alpestravel.com. This will include two logs, a fire-lighter and a handful of kindling per night of your stay. The cost is 5 euros per night.

Is the public transport in Chamoinx free?

All guests that stay with Alpes travel will pay the local tourist tax, in return you will be provided with a Carte d'Hote. This card will give you free access to local transport and other promotional offers provided by the local Marie.
