"/>Apartment Deuxieme de Melée is a modern three bedroom, three bathroom apartment sleeping up to 8 guests with the use of the loft sofa bed. Located in the popular alpine village of Argentière, the famous Grands Montets ski area is just a 5 minute walk. The apartment benefits from a social and bright open plan living space which has a wood burning stove, plenty of comfy seating and a balcony with spectacular views towards Mont Blanc. A hot tub (shared with the apartment below) can also be enjoyed.
The Location
The apartment is located in the centre of the village of Argentière. It is just a 5 minute walk from the gondola giving access to the Grand Montets ski area which is famously the home of some of the Chamonix Valley’s more challenging pistes. In winter there is a cross country ski track nearby and in summer Argentière is the start point for many amazing hiking trails. The apartment is situated directly above arguably the best bakery in the Valley, so fresh croissants each morning couldn’t be more convenient. The village of Argentière has a great range of bars, restaurants and shops providing plenty of options for apres ski, lunch and dinner. Additionally there is a bus stop and train station within 5 minutes walk of the apartment which gives you easy access to the other villages and ski areas of the Chamonix Valley.
The Details
The apartment is set over two floors. On the main floor there is an open plan living/dining area with comfy sofas and armchairs and access to a balcony with excellent mountain views. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, stove, coffee machine and dishwasher. There are three twin bedrooms on this floor, each with an ensuite, two have showers and the third has both a bath and shower. Additionally there is a separate WC. On the second floor there is a loft TV room with SKY TV, games consoles and sofas. Externally there is access to a decked terrace with a hot tub (shared with Apartment Demi de Melée). There is a lockable boot room with boot dryers in the basement and marked off road parking spaces behind the apartment.

The apartment is located above a bakery and although this is mostly seen as connivence as the bakery is of the best in the valley, it’s worth mentioning and those who are are light sleepers have heard disturbance during their stay.
What’s Included
Self-catered bookings include linen and towels based on the standard guest configuration. If your apartment features a sofa bed and you require additional linen to accommodate maximum occupancy, a supplementary linen fee of €25 will apply. The rate also includes end-of-stay cleaning and the local taxe de séjour (tourist tax), which provides access to a Carte d’Hôtes. This card grants complimentary use of local trains and discounts on museum admissions and other attractions.
Standard check-in is available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with check-out required by 10:00 AM. Please note that late arrivals may incur additional charges. If your apartment permits pets, additional fees apply. Dogs are charged at €15 per night per dog; however, cats are not permitted in any Alpes Travel apartments.
Payment terms and Cancellation
To confirm the booking, you must pay 10% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 4.6 euros per adult per night. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.
If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.
