Apartment Ensa is a modern two bedroom, two bathroom apartment, comfortably sleeping four guests. The apartment boasts an unbeatable location in the pedestrianised centre of Chamonix with all the amenities Chamonix town has to offer right on your doorstep. With a comfy open plan living/dining/kitchen area and a balcony overlooking the river and another towards the town, Apartment Ensa is an excellent space to relax after a day in the mountains, yet only a moment from the buzz of Chamonix centre.
The Location
Apartment Ensa benefits from a central Chamonix location, less than a minute’s walk from the pedestrianised high street, yet in a quiet building, set back and facing the river. In Chamonix you will find every amenity with superb restaurants, cafés and bars as well as supermarkets, shops and ski/board/boot hire shops. The bus stop for the free Chamonix Valley bus service is under a 5 minute walk from the apartment. From here there are regular buses giving easy access to all the excellent ski areas the valley has to offer. The famous Aiguille du Midi lift, taking you up to 3842m and giving spectacular views of Mont Blanc is also just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. A fantastic and convenient location for anyone looking to make the most of everything Chamonix has to offer.
The Details
The apartment is situated on the 1st floor of an apartment building with a lift. There is an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with sofa, armchairs, TV and spacious dining table. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, stove, microwave and coffee machine. Additionally there is a utility area with a washing machine/dryer. There is a double bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with twin beds. Both bedrooms have access onto a balcony. There are 2 bathrooms, each has a WC and basin, one with a shower and one with a shower over a bath. There is a 2nd balcony overlooking the river with a table and chairs. There is one designated parking space in the underground car park and designated ski locker in the basement of the apartment complex.
What’s Included
Self-catered bookings include linen and towels based on the standard guest configuration. If your apartment features a sofa bed and you require additional linen to accommodate maximum occupancy, a supplementary linen fee of €25 will apply. The rate also includes end-of-stay cleaning and the local taxe de séjour (tourist tax), which provides access to a Carte d’Hôtes. This card grants complimentary use of local trains and discounts on museum admissions and other attractions.
Standard check-in is available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with check-out required by 10:00 AM. Please note that late arrivals may incur additional charges. If your apartment permits pets, additional fees apply. Dogs are charged at €15 per night per dog; however, cats are not permitted in any Alpes Travel apartments.
Payment terms and CancellationÂ
To confirm the booking, you must pay 10% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 4.6 euros per adult per night. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.
If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.
Please note that a temporary damage deposit of €250 will be charged on the day of arrival and held for the duration of the stay. The deposit will be released upon check-out.
