Apartment President is a spacious five bedroom, five bathroom apartment sleeping 12 in the centre of Chamonix. The Location
Apartment President benefits from an excellent location in the centre of Chamonix. Just a minute’s walk from the pedestrianised high street and also just a minute’s walk to the Savoy nursery ski slope. From here you can access the Brévent ski area via a drag lift to the main Brévent lift. A bus stop a couple of minutes walk from the apartment gives easy access to the rest of the Chamonix Valley for those wanting to explore the other villages or ski areas. On your doorstep are also numerous excellent cafes, bars and restaurants and the largest supermarket in Chamonix is under 5 minutes walk. Apartment President makes an excellent base for large families or groups of friends who would like the fantastic convenience of a central Chamonix location.
The Details
Apartment President is on the first floor of a newly decorated residence. There is an open plan kitchen/living/dining area with a large dining table and comfy sofas. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Opening from the living area is a huge terrace which extends around the apartment. Bedroom’s 1 and 2 are twin rooms and bedroom 3 is a twin with bunk beds. Both bedrooms 4 and 5 are triple rooms with 3 single beds each. All bedrooms have an ensuite shower with basin and WC, there is also one separate toilet. Externally there are two parking spaces, one of which is in an underground garage, and a large ski/kit storage area.
What’s Included
Self-catered bookings include linen and towels based on the standard guest configuration. If your apartment features a sofa bed and you require additional linen to accommodate maximum occupancy, a supplementary linen fee of €25 will apply. The rate also includes end-of-stay cleaning and the local taxe de séjour (tourist tax), which provides access to a Carte d’Hôtes. This card grants complimentary use of local trains and discounts on museum admissions and other attractions.
Standard check-in is available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with check-out required by 10:00 AM. Please note that late arrivals may incur additional charges. If your apartment permits pets, additional fees apply. Dogs are charged at €15 per night per dog; however, cats are not permitted in any Alpes Travel apartments.
Payment terms and CancellationÂ
To confirm the booking, you must pay 10% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 4.6 euros per adult per night. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.
If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.
Please note that a temporary damage deposit of €500 will be charged on the day of arrival and held for the duration of the stay. The deposit will be released upon check-out.
