Chalet Trois Bois is a fantastic four bedroom, two bathroom chalet sleeping up to 8 guests, Located in the peaceful village of Les Houches and situated at the foot of Mont Blanc, the chalet benefits from uninterrupted views of the Mont Blanc massif from the large, south-facing garden. The locationÂ
Chalet Trois Bois is located in a quiet and beautiful area of Les Houches. This peaceful residential area will give you the opportunity to fully relax and enjoy the spectacular mountain views which surround the chalet. The amenities of Les Houches are close by with the Bellevue gondola, giving access to the tree-lined Les Houches ski area, just a 5 minute drive. There are also a handful of restaurants and bars within a 10 minute walk, as well as the best stocked supermarket in the valley. The chalet is just a 10 minute drive from Chamonix centre, with its famous attractions such as the Aiguille du Midi. There is also a bus stop under a 10 minute walk from the chalet which has regular buses to Chamonix and the ski areas within the valley.
The detailsÂ
Chalet Trois Bois is spacious and set over two floors. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, another with one set of bunk beds. There is one bathroom with a large shower, basin and WC. Additionally there is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. On the upper floor there is a social open plan kitchen/living/dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, stove, fridge freezer, coffee machine and microwave and the large dining table can comfortably seat 8 guests. The living space has large doors leading onto a balcony and stairs down to the sunny garden. On this floor there are also two further double bedrooms and one further bathroom with shower over bath, basin and a separate WC. Externally, there is parking for multiple cars and an undercover space in the garage where you can also store bikes and kit. The garage also has a heated ski locker room for storing skis, boots and jackets. A car is recommended to enjoy this property and in winter you will need snow tyres and chains.
What’s Included
Self-catered bookings include linen and towels based on the standard guest configuration. If your apartment features a sofa bed and you require additional linen to accommodate maximum occupancy, a supplementary linen fee of €25 will apply. The rate also includes end-of-stay cleaning and the local taxe de séjour (tourist tax), which provides access to a Carte d’Hôtes. This card grants complimentary use of local trains and discounts on museum admissions and other attractions.
Standard check-in is available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with check-out required by 10:00 AM. Please note that late arrivals may incur additional charges. If your apartment permits pets, additional fees apply. Dogs are charged at €15 per night per dog; however, cats are not permitted in any Alpes Travel apartments.
Payment terms and CancellationÂ
To confirm the booking, you must pay 10% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 4.6 euros per adult per night. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.
If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.
Please note that a temporary damage deposit of €250 will be charged on the day of arrival and held for the duration of the stay. The deposit will be released upon check-out.
